Schooling: Graduated High School with top marks and went on to Mt. San Antonio College in LA to study medicine on a full scholarship. Trained as a paramedic for 4 years then left to work in the field.

Physical Characteristics: Tall, with an average build that would make him suitable for long distance running or pole vaulting. Constantly works out in order to stay fit and takes care of his image. Clean shaven with short black hair that doesn't get in the way when working. Despite his tall appearance he blends into a room of people easily. He also has the paramedic star tatooed just below his neck, where a necklace or pendant would hang.

Personality: See's the good in all people. This is a negative as much as it is a posotive because he can never bring himself to harm anything human or even humanoid. He is loyal to his friends and dedicated to his job. He has faith in his ability to heal and goes out of his way to do so.

Clothes: A white paramedic uniform. Casual - Dark jeans, A short sleeved black button up shirt.

Relationships: Mother, Father & Little Sister (16) live back in LA, remains close with his sister. He hopes to be able to have her move to *city name* with him. As a friendly guy he knows quite a lot of the people in SI and especially the paramedic unit. His best friend (Tom) is his ambulance's driver. His girlfriend (Kate) is the other paramedic on the ambulance.

Combat Style: Doesn't like fighting and will never harm an innocent. The only time he moves to fight is in order to defend a patient. In this case he prefers a Benilli M4 Super 90 Combat Shotgun. The shotgun was slightly modified for paramedic use with all metal recoated with white and a green paramedic star emblazoned on both sides of the stock. The gun was made with titanium for a lighter build. Fully trained with the gun by the SI combat teams he ranked highly in shooting tests.

History: Born into an abusive family in LA. Father was a drug dealer who constantly smoked his own stash. Together He and the mother owned a small gift shop in the back streets of LA. With little to no business it only served as a front for the drug selling business. Once 10 (a year after his sister was born) he fled LA to the northern city of *city name*. Once there he didn't attend school again until he was 14. He only got into school then because of a clean up campaign the current Mayor was holding. Numerous homeless people were given jobs and homeless children were placed in public schools. Once in the public school he devoted all of his time to his studies. Rapidly rising to the top of his class he was granted a scholarship from the mayor himself to attend Mt. San Antonio College in LA. Here he studied medicine and met his future best friend and girlfriend. After graduating at the age of 23 he moved back to *city name*. There he served as a paramedic for half a year before being "promoted" into the SI department. This "promotion" came about because of his run in with a were-coyote littered with shrapnel from a grenade. Half way through the surgery the coyote had turned back into a young boy. During the transformation some of the shrapnel was carried deeper into the body so as he prepared to go in after it he was thrown aside by a tall Native American man. The man then scooped the boy off and fled down an alley and out of sight. Giving chase Rush searched several nearby alleyways but there was no sign of him. Returning to the van he found a group of police in full riot gear standing around his ambulance. Following a series of gruelling questions he was "promoted" into the SI department and took his ambulance team with him. Once in the department they quickly became the primary ambulance sent out into the field whenever people suffered injuries under extenuating circumstances.
